It sets the bar high for the rest of the album, and for the most part "Revenge" manages to hit that bar with success. Two Paul Stanley tracks follow "Unholy," bringing a bit more of his signature pop sound back to the album, particularly with "Take It Off." "Tough Love," while a bit harder, is also pop-tinged/5(). -

Genes focus on the band was back and apparent on this album. I think "Revenge" is the best album since s "Love Gun". The album doesnt have any filler tracks which were very evident in the previous decade. This album saw a drastic change in the bands look and sound. All the songs are great. The only song I dont really care for is "Paralyzed". -
